I would like to recommend one of the best movies of 2018, which is ‘A Quiet Place‘.

John Krasinski’s ‘A Quiet Place’ is a horror movie that will make you feel nervous and tension all the way while you are watching the movie. It’s a movie intended to make you an active participant in a game of tension, not just a passive spectator in an unfolding horror.

‘If they hear you, they hunt you.’

‘A Quiet Place’ is a post-apocalyptic horror movie which the earth is invaded by an unknown creature that will hunt and take down anything that make noise. All the humans are forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing.

The Abbott family; mother, Evelyn (Emily Blunt), father, Lee (Krasinski) and their children (Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds) are living at the country side. They speak sign language which allowing them to communicate in silence without a hitch to prevent the creatures from hunting them.

Evelyn enters the final stages of pregnancy. Preparing for the arrival of a newborn baby in a world without noise is difficult. Evelyn steps on a nail accidentally and she has made a huge noise which alert and lead the creatures to come over. Meanwhile, her husband and Marcus are scavenging at another place.So that, Evelyn is needed to find a way to hide herself out, and born the baby silently.

Lee has returned home and is horrified to see that the red lights have been switched on by her wife. The red lights are the sign that the creatures are hunting around the house. Now, the family is at the edge between life and death. Lee is going to save her wife and the new born baby. What will happen next? You might want to find it out by yourself!

So now, what make the different between this movie and other horror movies is the patience that is important for horror movie to work. Jump scare is too mainstream in every horror movies, Krasinski’s methodology as director is to systematically destroy these miserable trends. A Quiet Place is an effortless distillation of the three elements that characterize film-making: sound, light and actors.

With only barely 10 lines of dialogue between the actors throughout whole movie, the actors convey on such raw emotion with simply their faces that will makes you ask why are these performances are not getting Oscars.

In ‘A Quiet Place’, you can feel exactly how does the characters feel throughout the movie. For example, the fear of getting hunted, the pain of actual death and the anxiousness when you are worrying the family that are in danger.  For example,every time when the actors on a broken twig, or topples over a lantern, you will experience what true horror really feels like.

The movie has earned the rating of 7.6/10 in IMDb, and 95% in Rotten Tomatoes. As you can see, the movie has really did a great job to entertain and scare the hell out of the audiences in the same time.

If you are a horror movie lover, I would  highly recommend you to watch this movie! Remember to prepare tissues in order to wipe out your sweats while you are watching the movie!

Slither.io is a massively multiplayer video game. There are more than 50 players fighting each other inside a map! The objective of the game is to control a worm around the map and defeating players by eating their pallets. After you have successfully eaten their pallets, you will gain mass and growing larger and longer.

 

 

So, let’s get started!

1. After you have gone to the website, the first thing to do is to enter your nickname.

 

2. Now, you may change your avatar by clicking the ‘Change Skin’ button. (It is optional)

 

3.  Click on the play button to start playing!

 

4. You are now controlling your avatar; try to eat the pallets to grow longer and larger!

 

5. To defeat other players, their head must collide into a part of your avatar.

 

6. You may speed up your avatar by pressing space bar or left/right mouse button. This would be one of the strategies to defeat the player. Anyhow, your avatar will lose length while boosting. So, use it wisely!

 

7. The goal of this game is not deafening all the players in the map but is to get on the leader board. (You could find the board on the top right side of the game)
